Vincent Whitehurst is an architect and artist living in Raleigh, North Carolina. He works in many mediums, primarily ink, and explores ways of delivering ink to the paper: crafting temporary tools, utilizing washes, lifting imagery from junk-mail catalogs. Vincent has shown in juried group shows at the Visual Art Exchange and Flanders Gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as two solo shows at Foundation, a bar in downtown Raleigh. Vincent has also designed and published two books of his art. He is currently part of the 2014 “Launch” program at the Visual Art Exchange, hanging new work and retail items monthly, and has work showing at the Roundabout Art Collective through July, 2014.
